WELCOME TO CAMP CRUSOE
We are an Ofsted registered residential Summer Camp in the UK for children aged 8-15.
Our mission at Camp Crusoe is to give our campers wonderful experiences to last a lifetime, forging new friendships and learning new skills.
We believe that in this high paced modern world there is a real need to give children a relaxed atmosphere where they will be encouraged to try new things, to grow in confidence, to enjoy being with children from different places and backgrounds all whilst having good old fashioned fun in the stunning British countryside.

The Camp Crusoe Effect
Play
We give children the chance to just be children, away from the pressures of school, technology and the commercial world, doing what they do best and what studies show kids today need more of: playing.
Mental Wellbeing
We foster a relaxed, positive and happy atmosphere where our campers feel valued. Summer Camp provides a different rhythm of life where campers spend their days playing outdoors, eating well and sleeping soundly.
New Skills
At Camp Crusoe, children are encouraged to try new things, often in the process discovering new hobbies or unearthing talents they didn’t know they had. Who says learning has to happen in the classroom?
Jessica, 14, from Dover, attended Camp Crusoe last summer and claims it was the best thing she’s ever done.
“The girls in my room are now my friends for life; the staff were lovely and nothing compares to the pure euphoria of paddle-boarding on a vast lake in the rain,” Jessica says.
“I’ll always remember singing Riptide round the campfire with jam on toast at sunset, and running barefoot across the grass in the early morning. Camp shaped who I am and what I want to do in my life.”

Social Skills
At Camp, children learn to be part of a diverse community, to be tolerant, understanding and to value their own contribution to the group. With no wifi to distract them, campers form bonds and friendships for life.
Enjoy the Outdoors
Campers get the opportunity to explore the great outdoors, playing in the woods and enjoying activities which foster an appreciation of nature and their part in it, all is a safe and fun environment.
Young Leaders
Our Camp Counsellors are fun and positive role models for the children, providing a rare opportunity for a child to interact and develop a bond with an adult who is not a family member or school teacher.
Location
